Star/ESPN on Disney+
With the sunsetting of the Star+ app global audiences would be brought over to Disney+. Users expected a familiar UX/UI to continue to enjoy the access to their favorite sports. To make the shift to supporting not only movies and series but now sports content, the backend effort was monumental. Components and page styles needed to flex for live sports content, and metadata needed to drive decision-making.
