Star on Disney+

I led the UX and visual design for Star+, a regional streaming service built for LATAM & EU audiences, and later oversaw the migration of Star+ users onto Disney+. That transition required refactoring existing components and designing new ones to support content types the platform hadn't handled before. Including live sports, team pages, and linear channels.

Hulu on Disney+

As Principal Designer, I collaborated with the lead designer from Hulu to bring Hulu's content library into Disney+ as the two products merged under Disney. The goal was to rebuild Disney+ on a new multi-authenticated platform without disrupting existing user pipelines or losing the existing audience. The work centered on developing a shared component library that could support larger artwork, content ratings, and genre information. This added to the design challenges that came with introducing mature content into a platform with a strong family identity.

ESPN+ on Disney+

I led the UX design to bring ESPN+ content into Disney+, introducing live sports to an entertainment-first platform. The work included designing a dedicated ESPN hub and building out the features sports viewers expect. UX pathways like home and away broadcasts, multi-language streams, and camera angle selection while keeping the experience coherent within Disney+.

Brand Moments

I led a small team of artwork and motion designers to create seasonal and celebratory moments throughout the Disney+ experience. This included splash screen animations and new UI components designed to support surprise & delight moments and built to be scalable across content types and use cases so they could flex with the platform over time.
